AGICOA

Secondary rights are often discrete,
requiring true vision to notice them

As an independent producer of audiovisual works, you are not necessarily obligated to join a Collective Management Organization to obtain payment of secondary rights. However, it is recommended that you join such an organization as it will negotiate licenses with operators, oversee all legal matters, track the use of your works, and collect payment on your behalf. AGICOA is a non-profit organization that works for rightsholders in an efficient, professional, and transparent manner.

Entrust the management of your rights and collection of royalties to the Rights People!

Fees

How much does it cost?

Registration is free
and the management fees are less than 10%.

There are no application fees when registering with us. In order to finance its activities, AGICOA charges a fee on the total amount of royalties distributed to the rightsholders.

This management fee is set and agreed upon annually by the General Assembly; it always remains under 10%. In 2021, the fee was 7.56%. The management fee for voluntary mandates is 10%. Each rightsholder receives a net payment.
